About

Antevasin Architecture, formerly Antevasin Design, is an architectural design practice with a focus on sustainable, low-energy buildings. We work across the East Midlands and the South East.

Who we are

Spencer Crocker is an architectural designer and leads the practice from North Northamptonshire.

Zac Godden works with Spencer on projects in the South East.

Our philosophy

Efficient: low-energy buildings that are cheap to heat and run, with a fabric-first approach.

Healthy: good daylight, fresh air and natural, non-toxic materials.

Affordable: design that respects your budget, both to build and to live in for years to come.

Social: buildings that sit well in their community and bring people together.

Beautiful: carefully proportioned spaces and materials that age well.

Home: above all, we turn houses into homes.

Approach

Good design begins with listening: understanding how you live, what you need from your building and what you want it to feel like. From there, we look for the simplest, most robust way to get there, with a fabric-first approach that puts insulation, airtightness and daylight ahead of bolt-on technology.

AECB membership

The practice has been a member of the Association for Environment Conscious Building since 2013, part of a community committed to building well: low-energy, low-carbon buildings that perform as designed.
